Exterior Detailing

Exterior Only starts with a complete wash and a hand dry, then the wheels and tires are cleaned and degreased and a tire dressing is applied. The door jambs and trunk seals are cleaned. Then the part that actually makes the difference: a clay bar across every painted surface to pull out the bonded contamination that washing alone leaves behind, followed by a high quality wax applied by hand. Waxing over contaminated paint just seals the grit in, which is why the order matters. The exterior plastics get dressed at the end.

What the Super Exterior adds

Everything in Exterior Only, plus a single pass of paint polishing and buffing, and headlight restoration included rather than charged as an add on. That polishing pass is what takes the finish from clean to the glass like look, and it is the reason the job runs to around three man hours. One customer described the paintwork as feeling like silk afterwards, which is about right for what a single pass does to a car that has been sitting under a Texas sun.
