Read enough reviews of Mr. Sparkling and you notice something: almost none of them mention the company. They mention Ralph. That is not a marketing decision, it is just what happens when the owner is also the person doing the work on your driveway.
A two person operation, on purpose
Ralph Talavera started Mr. Sparkling in 2015 and it has stayed deliberately small. There is no unit, no reception and no queue of cars waiting on a forecourt, because there is no forecourt. The equipment, the water and the power travel to wherever the car already is.
What that buys you is consistency. The person who quotes the job is the person who does it, so nothing gets lost between the desk and the bay, and there is no incentive to sell you a package the car does not need. If a Regular Detailing Package will not fix what is wrong with your interior, you get told that rather than sold it.
The trade off is honest too: a two person operation cannot take unlimited work, so same day and next day are usually available but never guaranteed at every time of year.
How the work is judged
Every customer is asked to look the car over thoroughly before the detailer leaves, because that is the surest way to get anything put right on the spot. If something surfaces afterwards, it gets remedied.
At the end of each job you rate the detailer from 0 to 5, and the rating and any comment goes straight back to the person who did the work.

The stated aim has not changed since 2015: good products, good equipment, and a car that looks new rather than merely clean. It is the reason the exterior packages put a clay bar before the wax, and the reason the Super Exterior adds a polishing pass rather than a heavier wax.
